One of the themes I have studied quite a bit the past few years is the big picture of the Bible, the biblical metanarrative. How does the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, present one unified story? In which way does the Bible speak about a spiritual war that affects what happens on the earth?

The late Dr. Michael Heiser has been one of the scholars who put me on this trajectory. I can really recommend his works, such as the Unseen Realm. Also, his website miqlat.org, provides some really helpful resources.

A few weeks ago, my friend pastor Simon Hemsley of His Church, Durban, South Africa, and I spent a week in Jacksonville, Florida, for Global Team meetings of our network KNGDM Alliance (co-led by leaders as Paul Wilbur, Nate Wilbur, John Wyatt, Dixon Changara, Jacques van Bommel, Robert Baxter, and the two of us).
